Privacy Policy
Peasy ("we", "our", "us") is a calorie tracking app that lets you log meals by voice, text, food search, restaurant menus, saved meals, or nutrition-label scan. This policy explains what we collect, why we collect it, and the choices you have.

Data we do not sell
We do not sell your personal data to third parties.
Third-party services
We use the following services to operate Peasy. Each provides equal or comparable protection of your data under its own privacy policy:
- Supabase — authentication, cloud sync, and meal-parsing backend (supabase.com/privacy)
- USDA FoodData Central — reference nutrition lookup for generic foods (usda.gov/privacy-policy)
- Open Food Facts — branded / packaged food and barcode lookup (openfoodfacts.org/privacy)
- Apple Sign In / Google Sign-In — account authentication
- Apple App Store / Google Play — subscription billing
- RevenueCat — subscription entitlement management (revenuecat.com/privacy)
- Firebase — analytics, crash reporting (may include a non-email user id), and remote configuration (firebase.google.com/support/privacy)
How we use meal descriptions
When you log a meal by voice or text, we process the description to estimate calories and macros and to save your log.
- We first try local restaurant menus, your history, and our food catalogs on device and via Supabase.
- If needed, we query USDA FoodData Central and/or Open Food Facts with your search text or barcode.
- If the meal is still ambiguous, our backend may use AI to estimate calories and macros and may ask clarifying questions. Meal text may be sent to an AI service for this purpose.
We do not use your meal logs to sell advertising. Confirmed nutrition lookups (food name, calories, macros, source) may be stored in a shared food cache on Supabase so matching improves for all users. That cache does not include your account email or personal profile.
Microphone
Peasy requests microphone access only for voice logging. Audio is processed by your device's speech recognition service. Peasy does not store raw audio.
Camera
Peasy may request camera access when you scan a nutrition label. Photos are processed on-device with OCR to read calories and macros. Peasy does not upload or store label photos on our servers.
Data retention and deletion
Meal logs and profile data remain until you delete them or delete your account. Hydration preferences and saved meals stay on your device until you clear app data or delete the app.
You can delete all meal logs in Settings → Delete all data. To delete your account and associated cloud data, use Settings → Delete account in the app. You may also email appvior2@gmail.com to request deletion.
Health information
Peasy provides calorie estimates for informational purposes only. It is not medical advice. AI and catalog estimates can be inaccurate; edit any log that looks wrong.
Children
Peasy is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
